Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Self-Contained General Education Endorsement or CDE license
- Substitute Teacher License or Short Term Sub License required
- Experience working with school-aged students is preferred, but not required
- Background in speech-language pathology or special/general education is highly valued
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students’ unique learning needs
- Foster collaboration with teachers, support staff, and administrators to provide comprehensive support
- Assist in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to best practices in educational standards
- Adapt to various classroom settings and student abilities as needed
