Pediatric Speech Therapist in Eastport, ID
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in Eastport, Idaho, serving students from pre-kindergarten through an 18-21 program. This full-time, contract position is aligned with the 2026-2027 school year, running from August 27 to June 4. The initial week requires working 2-5 days, with a typical schedule consisting of 144 school days on a four-day week plus most Fridays off.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Valid Idaho SLP License and Endorsement
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with communicative disorder diagnoses and individualized therapy planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders across a broad age range
- Develop and implement individualized or group therapy plans targeting articulation and language improvement
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
