In this role, you’ll use your expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in students, supporting their ability to succeed academically and socially.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping students reach their full potential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and team members to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
