Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Maryland license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in school-based SLP services preferred
- Comfortable serving students across multiple ages and grades
- Skilled at providing in-person services (virtual/remote not available for this position)
- Adaptable to a caseload of about 45-50 students with primarily OHI, learning disabilities, autism, and language impairments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services 5 days a week (37.5 hours/week), adhering to the school schedule from the start to the end of the 26-27 school year
- Work predominantly outside the general education setting to maximize student support
- Maintain and update student progress notes, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Develop treatment plans that address students’ unique communication needs
