School Speech Language Pathologist - Easton, Maryland
Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! This contract position provides an exciting opportunity to work onsite supporting students across multiple ages and grades with a range of needs. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy primarily outside the general education setting to students with a variety of disabilities, including Learning Disabilities, Other Health Impairments, Autism, and Language Impairments.
- Managing a fluid caseload of approximately 45-50 students, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs and optimize outcomes.
- Conducting assessments, developing individual education plans (IEPs), and documenting progress in accordance with Maryland state requirements.
- Providing direct therapy (no virtual services), consultation, and collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Supporting and advocating for your students’ communication and functional needs throughout the school community.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records, progress notes, and reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current, valid Maryland Speech Language Pathologist license/certification.
- Expertise with school-aged children, particularly those with language, learning, or developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to five days per week (37.5 hours) on-site throughout the duration of the school year.
