Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Stevensville, MD

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as required
- Previous experience supporting students in school environments highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide speech, language, and communication interventions to students K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor approaches for each student’s needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, maintaining compliance with legal and district guidelines
- Maintain detailed progress records, reports, and documentation
- Provide guidance, resources, and training to teachers and caregivers for generalization of strategies
- Participate in discussions regarding student progress and program planning
- Stay current with the latest best practices within school-based speech-language pathology
