Travel School Speech and Language Pathologist | East Rochester, New York
A Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide specialized support in a school setting with a focus on teletherapy services. This role involves working twice a week, delivering 30-minute sessions to support student communication and language development.
Location: East Rochester, NY (Travel position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy sessions via teletherapy to students.
- Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and healthcare guidelines.
- Participate in meetings and provide consultative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with experience in pediatric and school-based settings.
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or current CFY status.
- Strong skills in teletherapy delivery of speech and language services.
- Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, and educational environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to travel to East Rochester, NY for occasional in-person meetings or evaluations.
