Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for children ages birth through five, focusing on early intervention strategies.
- Work across multiple sites, with a designated home base for support and planning.
- Collaborate with the district on IEP (Individualized Education Program) development and progress monitoring.
- Assist and support home visitors when the needs of a child’s ISPP/IEP require it.
- Offer guidance and education to parents, empowering them in their role as partners in their child’s growth.
- Maintain detailed documentation to ensure compliance with program, district, and state requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and partnership efforts with other educators and specialists.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure and/or certification for SLP.
- Experience providing services within a school or early childhood setting preferred.
- Knowledge of Head Start/Early Head Start and early intervention models is a plus.
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites efficiently.
