Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and SLP-CCC credential
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct bilingual assessments and communicate with students and families
  • Strong background in educational or healthcare-based SLP services
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in schools
  • Comfort with virtual platforms and willingness to provide remote services if needed
  • Culturally responsive approach to serving diverse communities and collaborating on multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language therapy to elementary students, focusing on K–3 students with a variety of communication needs
  • Conduct high-quality bilingual evaluations and assessments
  • Interpret IEP meetings and documentation for K–5 students and families, ensuring understanding and inclusion
  • Collaborate actively with educators, support staff, and caregivers to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all special education regulations
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and district initiatives
