Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Disputanta, VA
Make an impact on students' lives as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting! This fulfilling contract opportunity offers you the choice of onsite or teletherapy (Voco) service delivery, depending on your preference. You'll work with a diverse PreK-12th grade population across a manageable caseload of 35-45 students, serving three schools located on one convenient campus, plus a nearby private school. The role provides a 35-hour work week and is available for immediate start through the end of the school year, with interviews and offers happening right away.
What You’ll Need:
- Active SLP-CCC license or enrollment in CFY
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology
- Skills in both in-person and teletherapy service delivery
- Knowledge of pediatric communication disorders and best practices
- Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload across multiple school settings
- Solid communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for PreK-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
- Collaborate with faculty and support staff, contributing to student IEP teams
- Maintain timely and accurate records and progress reports
- Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process
- Provide services using both onsite and/or telepractice platforms as needed
- Manage time efficiently across three schools and one private school on campus
