Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Toano, Virginia

What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship (CFY candidates will be considered)
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based populations
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, parents, and staff
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input, and document student growth
- Maintain accurate, timely records and communication with all stakeholders
- Serve as a resource for faculty and families by offering strategies, support, and education
