Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license must be obtained before start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based settings is highly preferred
- Must be bilingual and fluent in Spanish
- Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs) a plus
- Ability to travel to multiple school sites as an itinerant provider
- Passion for fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with education teams
- Deliver direct speech/language therapy in a school-based setting
- Collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary partners to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation as required by state and district standards
- Support students from diverse backgrounds, including English learners
- Adapt approaches for varied caseloads across multiple campus locations
