Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license must be obtained before start date
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in school-based settings is highly preferred
  • Must be bilingual and fluent in Spanish
  • Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs) a plus
  • Ability to travel to multiple school sites as an itinerant provider
  • Passion for fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with education teams
  • Deliver direct speech/language therapy in a school-based setting
  • Collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary partners to maximize student progress
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation as required by state and district standards
  • Support students from diverse backgrounds, including English learners
  • Adapt approaches for varied caseloads across multiple campus locations
