In this itinerant, school-based role, you’ll work with students across multiple sites for the remainder of the school year, supporting their communication and language development. Both part-time and full-time options are available, with a strong preference for candidates fluent in Spanish who are comfortable traveling between schools.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification required before starting
- Proven experience working in school settings is preferred
- Bilingual Spanish fluency is required for effective engagement with diverse student populations
- Comfortable traveling between multiple educational sites as part of an itinerant assignment
- Open to mentoring Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Committed to providing onsite services only (no teletherapy options available)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students across different schools, addressing a range of student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) while collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop targeted goals to support students’ communication skills
- Maintain documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Adapt strategies to meet the linguistic and cultural needs of bilingual students
- Foster positive, supportive relationships to empower students’ academic and social success
