Desired qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish fluency (required)
- Valid and active CDE license before start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Comfortable working with Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Ability to adapt and travel between multiple school sites
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students on your caseload, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with legal and school district requirements
- Support the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse students, leveraging your Spanish language skills
- Adapt quickly to changing environments and schedules while maintaining positive relationships
