Desired Background & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice in the state required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Familiarity with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative services to students from diverse backgrounds
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
- Document progress, report on outcomes, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
- Participate in school-based events, professional development, and ongoing team collaboration
