Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Aurora, IL

Based in the vibrant Aurora, IL area, this assignment focuses on PreK to 1st grade students with speech-only needs for the 2026-2027 school year. Collaborate with dedicated colleagues in a welcoming, resource-rich environment equipped with a shared speech room alongside three SLPs.
This onsite role begins with a commitment of one day per week, with the potential to expand to two days. You’ll impact a manageable caseload of 12-15 students, developing and implementing targeted interventions, and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements using Easy IEP software.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- School-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with Easy IEP or similar software systems
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to PreK-1st grade students in individual or small group settings
- Evaluate students and contribute to IEP development and meetings
- Complete monthly written minutes and maintain up-to-date records
- Adapt therapy approaches according to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and fellow SLPs for optimal student outcomes
