School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Waukegan, Illinois

Based near Waukegan, IL, this role serves a special education setting with a manageable caseload, providing focused support and collaboration within an enthusiastic team.
Your expertise will be valued as you engage with a select group of nine students in a K-2 classroom. This part-time assignment offers a predictable schedule—seven hours per week—so you can maintain a healthy work-life balance. New Hire Orientation is scheduled tentatively from August 12 through August 14, setting you up for success as you settle into your role for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Illinois (please submit a current screenshot)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois (please submit a current screenshot)
- CCC or eligibility; strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience or enthusiasm for school-based environments, especially in special education
- Commitment to onsite service only
Expected Contributions:
- Deliver individualized and small-group speech and language therapy to K-2 students
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams
- Maintain careful documentation of services and progress
- Communicate regularly with families, staff, and administration to optimize student outcomes
