Speech Language Pathologist in Ecorse, MI

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Michigan SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children preferred
- Comfortable providing services across a diverse K-12 caseload
- Passion for collaborative, in-person work (remote work is not available for this role)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student learning and progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and district policies and procedures
- Conduct screenings and participate in IEP meetings as a valued member of the support team
- Provide progress updates and resources to families and educators
