Key Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Michigan SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in school settings and with K-12 caseloads is highly valued
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to working onsite throughout the contract period
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, special educators, and administrators to ensure effective service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and fulfill compliance requirements
- Involve families and caregivers in student plans and progress
