School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Flint, Michigan

Preferred candidates hold SLP-CCC, but Clinical Fellows with an established supervisor (or willingness to secure one) are welcome to apply. Those who have applied for Michigan licensure will be considered if they can provide proof of application and pending status. Prior to district presentation, official university transcripts are required. The positions require flexibility and comfort working onsite across various school locations.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology with official transcripts
- Michigan SLP license or proof of completed application
- SLP-CCC preferred; CFY candidates considered with supervisor
- Experience or willingness to serve K-12 students
- Knowledge of challenges faced by urban youth preferred
- Familiarity with IEP/ MET process
- Comfortable providing services in multiple school buildings
- Willingness to assist and advise on AAC systems
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy onsite
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to reinforce communication goals
- Develop and monitor student progress through IEP goals and documentation
- Conduct evaluations and write eligibility reports
- Provide training and professional development for school staff
- Manage and organize therapy equipment and materials
