Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience providing speech-language support to school-aged children (preferred)
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and technology
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based speech-language interventions to students in school settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, consult with educators and caregivers, and document student progress in compliance with school and state standards
- Adapt therapy materials and techniques for engaging, successful online sessions
- Maintain professional, confidential communication with school staff, caregivers, and students
- Manage caseloads effectively while meeting timelines and responsibilities as a 1099 contractor
