Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous experience working in school settings highly valued
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborating with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and assessments to students with communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to address students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise to student evaluations
- Maintain detailed, timely, and compliant documentation of services provided
- Consult with teachers, parents, and related service staff to promote student growth and success
- Engage in ongoing professional development and district initiatives
