Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or eligible RIDE PK-12 SLP Certification (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable adapting to caseload size and needs
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
- Bilingual skills or experience with multilingual students a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and assessments for approximately 60 students, with flexibility due to caseload fluctuations
- Serve students across PK–12, with options for Early Childhood/Preschool or Bilingual tracks
- Set up and manage AAC and assistive technology devices
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
- Advise parents on strategies and student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to enhance learning outcomes
- Engage sensitively with students from multicultural backgrounds (over half from multilingual homes)
