Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Cottondale, Florida

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting near Cottondale, FL. This position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 10th, and offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of 73 students. Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active FL Speech-Language Pathology license
- Background in SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or school-based pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Experience working with K-12 populations is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across K-12 settings
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings and support educational goals for each student
- Adapt therapy approaches as needed for hybrid and on-site learning
In this contract role, you'll enjoy a competitive pay range of $45-$50 per hour, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek over five days.
