An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students and colleagues in an educational setting near the beautiful Southeast Texas Coast. This full-time, contract position spans the academic year and emphasizes both leadership and clinical SLP skills, with a strong preference for on-site providers but consideration given to well-qualified virtual candidates. Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Experience working within school settings, preferably K-12
- Strong supervisory skills or background in mentoring SLPAs
- Proficiency with Frontline/E-Sped platform is advantageous
- Commitment to fulfilling Texas fingerprinting and credentialing requirements
- Previous district employees are not currently eligible for consideration
Position Overview & Responsibilities:
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) within the district
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to students across assigned schools (specific sites TBD)
- Provide assessments, interventions, and participate in IEP processes
- Collaborate with educators, family members, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize electronic platforms efficiently
