Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Columbus, Georgia
Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist and make a significant impact in a dynamic K-12 educational environment near Columbus, GA. This contract opportunity begins in August 2026 and runs through May 2027, providing a chance to serve a manageable caseload of 15 students across two buildings—one Elementary and one Middle/High combined. You’ll collaborate with another part-time SLP to support students’ communication goals and help them thrive academically and socially.

Desired Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP-CCC certification required
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and paperwork
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and IEP goals
- Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy sessions for K-12 students
- Collect data and monitor student progress; maintain thorough and timely documentation
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, other SLPs, school staff, and families
