Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication abilities and team-oriented mindset
- Capable of adapting to a variety of student needs across age groups
- Genuine passion for helping children succeed academically and socially
- Open to both local and travel SLPs; flexibility regarding onsite or possible virtual assignments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with special education staff
- Document student progress and maintain organized records in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Engage with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes for students
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development opportunities
- Balance a caseload of direct therapy and indirect consult/support services
