School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Lakeport, California

This contract position is conveniently structured at two days per week, totaling 16 hours, allowing you to make a significant impact with a balanced schedule. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous, though not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering student growth and inclusive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students in grades K-8
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and prepare required documentation for IEPs
- Provide direct therapy and monitor student progress, adapting methods to maximize outcomes
- Participate in relevant meetings, training, and professional development as required
