Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience providing services in school settings, with knowledge of IEP processes preferred
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based therapy for students with a range of speech and language needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, families, and school teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-8 students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech-language strategies in the classroom
- Communicate progress and recommendations to families and team members
- Support a positive learning environment, encouraging student growth and engagement
