Qualifications & Certifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license (active status)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Recent experience with pediatric populations, especially within early childhood or school-based settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage families, students, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy services to early childhood students, addressing speech, language, and communication needs
- Participate in assessments, IEP development, and progress monitoring in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and interventions
- Engage families and caregivers in strategies to reinforce progress beyond the classroom
- Contribute actively to the Early Childhood Center’s supportive and inclusive educational culture
