Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP License
- PEL (Professional Educator License) Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based SLP settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to middle school students
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
- Complete assessments to identify students’ needs, monitor progress, and recommend interventions
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing professional development of the staff
