Speech-Language Pathologist in Cicero, IL

Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP License and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience with K-12 populations, with a preference for elementary or high school backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students facing speech, language, or communication challenges
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions individually and in small groups within a school-based model
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and adhere to compliance requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support teams
- Adapt interventions to meet the varied needs of elementary or high school learners
