Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Cicero, IL
Make an impact supporting students’ communication skills in a school-based setting. Dedicated speech-language professionals are needed for two contract openings: one working with elementary-aged students, and another supporting high schoolers. Each role runs from August 17, 2026, to May 26, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced clinicians and clinical fellows to apply their expertise in a collaborative educational environment near Cicero, IL.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SLP License and PEL (Professional Educator License)
- Open to candidates with CCC or completing their CFY
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for working with diverse student populations
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments as needed
- Develop and carry out therapy plans tailored to IEP goals
- Collaborate actively with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of services and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and share expertise to help shape student supports
- Use evidence-based practices to maximize student growth
- Provide direct services as well as consultation for staff
This contract offers a weekday schedule of 35 hours per week, with compensation set at $48 per hour.
