Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Machesney Park, Illinois

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY)
- Pediatric and elementary school experience encouraged
- Background in providing direct therapy and evaluations within a school setting
- Strong collaborative approach with interdisciplinary teams, therapists, teachers, and families
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- A nurturing, kid-focused attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging therapy services to a caseload of 40-45 PreK to 3rd grade students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student
- Collaborate with educators and special education teams to support student success
- Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility meetings as needed
- Provide support and resources to families for carryover strategies at home
