Speech Language Pathologist in Merced, CA
Make an impact supporting students with moderate to severe needs for the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract position offers the opportunity to utilize your School-Based SLP expertise and make lasting contributions alongside a collaborative team. The assignment begins August 8, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week guaranteed. Your experience will be valued as you provide direct and consultative speech-language services across multiple school sites in a dynamic, itinerant role.
Your primary focus will be on serving a moderate to severe caseload of students, utilizing your strong communication skills, clinical acumen, and dedication to student growth. SEIS Service Tracker software familiarity is highly desired, and you will work closely with educators and families to support each student’s individualized education plan.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active California SLP licensure required
- SLP-CCC credentials
- School-based SLP experience with moderate to severe caseloads preferred
- Experience across multiple school sites or itinerant settings a plus
- Comfort with SEIS Service Tracker software highly preferred
- CTC clearance required
- Open to travelers; NOT open to VOCO/teletherapy candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students with moderate to severe disabilities
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to implement effective treatment strategies
- Travel to multiple locations as needed within the district
