School Speech Language Pathologist - Chicopee, Massachusetts

An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow SLP (CF-SLP) to deliver vital speech and language services in a dynamic, onsite school environment through the end of the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll work closely with engaging students, collaborate with experienced teachers and multidisciplinary teams, conduct thorough evaluations, and create individualized plans that help learners thrive in Springfield, MA.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Massachusetts SLP license or be eligible as a CF-SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP role is highly desired
- Strong background in delivering speech and language therapy to school-aged children
- Skilled in performing comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals
- Effective at working with teaching staff, special education professionals, and related teams
- Exceptional communication and organizational talents
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to complete CORI requirements promptly
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite speech-language therapy tailored to students’ individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers and special education providers to maximize student engagement and growth
- Complete thorough student evaluations and contribute to the development of effective IEPs
- Monitor progress and document outcomes
- Actively participate in team meetings and problem-solving sessions
- Serve as a resource for staff members concerning communication needs
You’ll be joining a motivated and enthusiastic school community that values professional collaboration and student-centered practice. You must be available to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) through June 12, 2027, and attend a brief Microsoft Teams interview as part of the process.
