This role begins August 13, 2026, and continues through May 31, 2027, offering structured hours (35 per week, Monday through Friday). Qualifications:
- Current Illinois PEL SLP License is required
- Accepting SLPs holding CCC or those completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- School-based experience is valuable, particularly in elementary or middle settings
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, direct therapy, and progress monitoring for assigned caseload of students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with a multidisciplinary team
- Document and track student progress, maintaining compliance with state and district requirements
- Consult with teachers, families, and other staff, sharing strategies for fostering students’ communication skills
- Create a positive and supportive learning climate for all learners
