What You’ll Need:
- Active IL PEL SLP License (required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Clinical Competence Certificate (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in an elementary or middle school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based, data-driven therapy
Your Role:
- Provide direct and consultative speech/language services to elementary or middle school students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Develop engaging, classroom-relevant interventions and therapy plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team processes
- Maintain thorough and timely records in accordance with district and state regulations
