Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY eligible
- Background in school-based speech-language therapy preferred
- Proficiency with assessment tools, individualized education programs (IEPs), and progress documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans in alignment with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students individually and in group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals to foster student success
- Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Engage actively in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional growth
