Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) also welcome
- Previous experience in a school setting is valued, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Enthusiastic about working with diverse student populations
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to address unique student needs
- Monitor progress and document results to ensure measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to promote generalization of skills across school settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and professional collaboration as needed
- Provide guidance and support to students, families, and educational staff
