Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a closely related field
- Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience or relevant clinical fellowship experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with intermediate-age students to support their academic and personal growth
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to students with diverse communication needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records, documentation, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to advocate for student success
- Provide education and support to teachers, staff, and families regarding speech and language interventions
