Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current and valid SLP license for the state of Virginia
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates are both encouraged to apply
- Experience working with school-aged children highly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP process, goal creation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students onsite
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and document student growth accurately and thoroughly
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to school staff regarding speech and language needs
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all state and federal guidelines
