You’ll collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students receive high-quality speech-language services in a positive and encouraging educational environment.
What You’ll Need:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure or eligibility in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility/interest in completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong desire to serve school-aged populations (3K-12)
- Understanding of IEP processes and ability to develop individualized intervention plans
- Excellent communication, organization, and consultation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations for students exhibiting communication challenges
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services within multiple school settings
- Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and other support staff to ensure cohesive student support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
