Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Columbia, SC

You’ll work with a manageable caseload, typically around 45 students, collaborating with educators, families, and administrators to help each child reach their full communication potential. Experience the unique energy of a school year, from August to late May, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Strong background in both individual and group therapy approaches
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Previous experience in a school or healthcare setting is highly valued
- Team-oriented attitude and a genuine passion for helping young learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for a diverse caseload
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to each student’s needs in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Serve as an advocate for effective communication within the school environment
