You will support a manageable caseload of 55 elementary students, providing essential therapy and collaborating with education professionals to help each child reach their communication goals.
What we’re looking for:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality services within an educational framework.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Your contributions will include:
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students on your caseload.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Providing direct therapy and intervention to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ progress.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school standards and timelines.
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to team discussions on student outcomes.
