Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility to obtain licensure before start date
- Previous experience in an elementary school environment is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of around 55 elementary students
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams, and advocate for students’ needs
- Maintain accurate records, progress documentation, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and school policies
- Offer guidance and resources to families and staff regarding communication interventions and support strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in speech-language pathology
