Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: San Jose, California
School Year: 2026–2027
ProCare Therapy is working with a school district to contract a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. This is an onsite, school-based role supporting a team of experienced clinicians in delivering high-quality services to students.
Candidates who are fluent in both English and Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply, as this role will support a diverse student population.
Assignment Details
- Contract Dates: August 2026 – May 2027
- Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
- Setting: Onsite
- Caseload: K–12 students
Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising SLP in implementing speech and language therapy plans
- Provide direct services to students under supervision
- Support bilingual communication needs for Spanish-speaking students and families
- Help prepare therapy materials and activities
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Qualifications
- Active SLPA license in CA
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (required)
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
