As part of the school-based team, you’ll provide essential speech-language services during regular school hours—Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Both certified SLPs and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a collaborative setting that champions professional development. Qualified candidates will have:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- North Carolina state licensure or eligibility (or ASHA certification for CCC applicants)
- Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered intervention
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Delivering individualized and group therapy sessions
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and student support staff
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with all guidelines
- Offering mentorship to students in need of communication development
