Serving as a valued support in a school setting, you’ll provide essential speech and language services, either as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) or as an experienced SLP holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). The school is located in the heart of a bustling downtown community, offering a dynamic environment for both students and staff.
Your days will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, allowing you ample time to build meaningful relationships with students and collaborate closely with fellow educators. This is an onsite, full-time contract role, ideal for professionals who thrive in a collaborative, face-to-face educational setting.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- North Carolina licensure or eligibility to obtain state credentials
- Open to new graduates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as well as CCC-SLPs
- Strong commitment to serving middle and high school populations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and confidence
