Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for North Carolina licensure as an SLP
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) as well as those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with school-aged populations, particularly middle and high school students, preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy services in a school setting
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to foster student growth
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and actively contribute to an inclusive school environment
