Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active CA Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility
- Accepting Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those holding CCC-SLP credentials
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services
- Deep understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering evidence-based speech-language therapy in-person to students with mild and moderate needs
- Conducting student assessments, documenting progress, and developing IEP goals
- Partnering with teachers, support staff, and families for comprehensive service delivery
- Providing therapy and support solely as an SLP—no supervision of an SLPA is required
- Managing a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week, ensuring thorough attention to caseload needs
- Serving as a resource and advocate for students’ communication development and academic success
