Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Eligibility for or possession of California SLP licensure (or Clinical Fellow status)
- Strong commitment to evidence-based practices in school settings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
- Experience or strong interest in working with populations ranging from mild to severe needs, including in specialized healthcare and SDC classrooms
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students’ speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services in various educational environments, including specialized and moderate/severe programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support student IEPs and progress toward communication goals
- Document progress and maintain compliance records in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, family consultations, and professional development opportunities
